I offer four tiers of manuscript consultations depending on which stage of the writing process you have reached with your novel-in-progress and what you are ready for. If you are unsure about which choose, send me a message via the enquiry form and I will help you decide.

[Up to 3000 words read in advance + one-hour meeting]
This is for writers who are just starting out and/or are unsure about what to do with a first draft (which might yet be complete). I will read up to 3,000 words in advance from your work-in-progress. We will spend an hour over Zoom having a focused discussion about your goals and troubleshooting any problems you might be facing with your work-in-progress.
Submissions for this initial consultation will take me one week to read.
300 Euros
[Up to 10,000 words read in advance + one-hour meeting]
This is for writers who have a draft but are not yet ready to commit to a full read. Send me your excerpt (up to 10,000 words) and we will meet for 90 minutes in order to discuss your vision for your novel, and troubleshoot problems to do with plot, character development, structure, and voice.
Please note that I will take two-four weeks to read your manuscript.

[Re-read of first three chapters + advice with agent submission including read of synopsis and cover letter]
Only available if you have had the full manuscript consultation. This process includes a re-read of your first three chapters and help with perfecting your submission to agents, including a read of your synopsis, and help with crafting your cover letter.
300 Euros
[Full manuscript read in advance + two one-hour meetings + editorial letter + notes in manuscript]
This consultation is for writers who have a (near) complete draft. Before I begin reading, we will meet online for an hour to discuss your novel’s vision. I will then read your work and respond to it in an editorial letter, which will focus on key issues such as plot, structure, and voice. I will also provide notes throughout your manuscript. The second hour-long meeting will take place after you have finished reading my editorial letter so that you can come back to me with questions and I can guide you towards rewriting your novel-in-progress.
Please note that I will need four-six weeks to work on your manuscript.
