About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Jing-Jing Lee, including manuscript consultations, literary consultancy, creative-writing teaching, workshops, mentoring and related editorial or advisory services.

Services
The scope, fee, timing and deliverables for a particular service will be stated on the website, in a written proposal, quotation or individual service agreement. An individual written agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with these general Terms.
Prices and payment
Prices and VAT treatment will be stated before the agreement is concluded. Payment methods and deadlines will also be stated before the client commits to the service.
Consumer withdrawal
If you are a consumer and conclude an agreement at a distance, statutory consumer information and, where applicable, a 14-day right of withdrawal apply. If you request that a service begins during the withdrawal period, statutory rules concerning payment for services already supplied apply. If a service is fully performed during the withdrawal period, the right may end where the statutory conditions are satisfied, including the required express request and acknowledgement.
You may withdraw by a clear statement, including by email, or using the statutory model withdrawal form. For online consumer services, the website will also provide the cancellation/withdrawal function required by applicable Dutch law.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Outside statutory withdrawal rights, cancellation and rescheduling terms for a particular service will be stated in the booking confirmation or individual agreement. Any cancellation charge will be reasonable and reflect work already carried out or costs properly incurred, subject to mandatory consumer law.
Confidentiality and intellectual property
The client retains all intellectual-property rights in their manuscript and other creative material. The client grants only the limited right necessary to provide the agreed service. Manuscripts and related materials will be treated as confidential, subject to legal obligations and the Privacy Policy.
Nature of feedback
Editorial, teaching or mentoring feedback is professional opinion. It does not guarantee publication, representation, competition success, acceptance by a publisher or agent, or another particular outcome.
Complaints
If you have a concern about a service, please contact me at jingwrites@gmail.com so that I can try to resolve it promptly. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
Privacy and cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Information about cookies and similar technologies is provided in the Cookie Policy.
Governing law
These Terms and individual agreements are governed by Dutch law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
Changes
The version of these Terms in force when an agreement is concluded applies to that agreement. Updated Terms will be published for future agreements.
